How to ask us to correct, update or remove something.
We want Phuket Confidential to be sharp, not careless. If something we published is wrong, or if you believe a story identifies you or someone you know, tell us.
How to reach us
Email vice@phuketconfidential.com, or use the Confess form and choose A correction or takedown request. Include the link to the piece, what is wrong, and how we can reply. You do not need to give your name.
What happens next
- We answer requests within 72 hours.
- Factual errors are corrected, and material corrections are noted at the end of the piece with the date.
- If a story could identify a private person, we change the details or remove it.
- We do not quietly rewrite stories to change their meaning, and we do not change publication dates without a meaningful update.
What we will not do
We will not remove a piece simply because someone dislikes being recognised in a satirical archetype that describes many people. Archetypes on Phuket Species are composites and are labelled as satire.
