Jake moved to Phuket for Muay Thai.

He made this clear in his bio.

His schedule was serious: running at six, training at seven, strength work in the afternoon and bed by ten.

The first week went perfectly.

During the second week, someone invited him out for “one quiet drink.”

Jake did not drink, but he went for social reasons.

He returned at 3 a.m.

The next morning, he skipped running but attended training. This proved the system still worked.

Soon, Thursday became his social night. Then Saturday. Wednesday appeared accidentally after someone’s birthday continued past midnight.

Jake adapted his training schedule.

Morning sessions became optional. Afternoon sessions became essential. Recovery days became increasingly social.

He continued posting photographs from the gym, usually taken during the fifteen minutes when he looked most athletic.

After three months, Jake knew every coach at the camp and half the hospitality staff in Patong.

Both groups called him family.

Only one expected him to arrive at seven in the morning.

Whenever someone asked why he lived in Phuket, Jake answered immediately.

“The training.”

Technically, this remained true.

He trained regularly.

Mostly in explaining why he had missed training.
